Jessy

We spotted Jessie dumped in front of a dumpster at a popular spot next to a busy road where they abandon dogs. Luckily, a woman from Kostenets had told us that her dog had recently died and she wanted to adopt a stray. We assessed the dog’s behavior as best we could and didn’t waste much time before trying to get her off the streets and give her a chance in the home in question. During the vet’s examination, it turned out that Jessie was suffering from heartworm and anaplasmosis, but, luckily for us, this didn’t change her new owner’s mind and Jessie was quickly rehomed. We have committed to providing all the necessary medications to treat both diseases, as well as high quality dog food, at least at first. Jesse is now looking significantly better and showing no symptoms of the illnesses. She is due to have control blood tests once her sixth month is up, to confirm if she is fully cured as she is due to be neutered.
